A live work executed by 8 volunteer participants, each maneuvering 2 interlocking pieces of moving furniture.
Approximate duration: 30 minutes.

Caravana del Amor proposes an experiment in constructing a shared domain through a creative exercise in composite spatial configurations, produced by 8 people operating individually controlled moving parts. The unwieldy circulation consolidates into a common furniture bloc composed of contiguous mobile units, arranged in configurations spontaneously created by the participants, with the ultimate intention of collectively shielding individual bodies in protected interior nooks while maintaining overall spatial harmony. Participants must balance intuition and strategy as they seek to position their mobile units in immediate relation to others, and always, in consideration of the whole. The collective formations that emerge in repeated movements offer improvisational designs for a stronghold of human solidarity.
