A performance in 4 acts, called dances, with 32 participants + 7 monitors + 3 musicians
Duration: approximately 30 minutes

The work is conceived as a form of a social dance, where participants move in geometric patterns, relating to individual others in organized, alternating sequences. The interactions are circumscribed by the mediating objects that function simultaneously as connections and boundaries. Responding to the spatial delimitations and behavioral directives, participants negotiate between instinct and instruction, flow and form, producing interlocking combinations of order and disorder, tension and release, in choreographed social arrangements.

The floor is divided into 8 rosettes, each with of 4 participants who relate exclusively, in consecutive order, to every other group-mate, in 3 separate acts of orthogonal and then diagonal relations. In the final act the participants in the central rows relate diagonally to a member of the adjacent table while the other participants move to the periphery.
